I will start us out by mentioning an inspiring idea I heard from Dr. Phil the other day. I was in the break room at work, and the T.V. was on. He said something to the effect that the difference between a dream and a goal was a timeline and a game plan. It sounds simple and obvious at first, but it really is profound because many of us miss this distinction, thinking we have some goals, when, actually, they are just dreams. Do you have a timeline and a game plan for your dreams? Is there something God has called you to do that you have yet to begin? True, we need to pray (always) and wait on God at times, but if we do that our whole life and never take action, we will have missed out on all the blessings God intended for us and for the ones to whom we would have ministered. What are some of your dreams?

Daniel 12:3, The father of a friend of mine used to encourage the teens in his life to go ahead and strive to be a "star". But not the kind of star that fades such as music stars, athletic stars, movie stars. Be a "star" that won't fade. One that shines forever in God's list of stars. One who shows others how to find relationship with God.

Hmmmm, A fiery ball of gas hanging in space forever. No thanks, I've had enough heartburn. Got any other options?

Dan! I have been away for years working on some crucial issues, just now came around to see this comment sparkling like a gem here. Sorry about the heartburn, I hope you have found some relief. I guess you understand that the reference above is a simile. I certainly am not interested in becoming a suspended lumiary object either!
